 The Not for profit 501(c3) Outer Banks Giving Tree assists local non-profits in the North Eastern North Carolina region raise funds for distribution that assist in relief and aid to veterans, children’s programs, community efforts and charitable contribution. Supported by donations from The OBX Running Company and its branding partners, this is primarily done through organized athletic road racing and multi-sport events. 100% of your donation is contributed to the Giving tree’s charity effort. All donations are tax deductible to the amount allowed by law.

Corolla Wild Horse Fund - To protect, conserve, and responsibly manage the herd of Corolla wild horses roaming freely on the northernmost Currituck Outer Banks, and to promote the continued preservation of this land as a permanent sanctuary for horses designated as the State Horse and defined as a cultural treasure by the state of North Carolina.

The Water's Edge Village School (WEVS - pronounced "waves") is a public, K-7, accredited charter school in Corolla, NC. We're in the middle of a wonderful fifth year with three highly qualified teachers, one Master's level special education coordinator, and one special education aide who have been working with the community ​and the board to put together a year of journey of learning.
