3. Is the Nags Head Village race on the beach?
No, -The Village of Nags Head Race Series is on pavement in the W. Village of Nags Head.
3a. Are any of your races on the beach? Yes, we do have the Sunrise 5k Series on the beach. These races rotate beach access' yearly. All links are specific to YOUR race date.
4. Are your events stroller and walker friendly?
Yes, but remember The Sunrise Race Series is on the beach so we suggest an appropriate fat tire stroller if you run one of those events.
5. Are dogs allowed?
Service animals only please.
6. Does everyone get a T-shirt and finisher medal?
Yes and Yes
7. Do you award all age groups?
Awards are presented to top 3 male/female overall, 1st place masters (over 40) male/female and 1st place Youth (under 14) male/female
8. Can I pick up my packet day of the race?
Yes, onsite at the Race Start Line
9. Can I do walk-up registration?
Walk-up is always available with us until 15 minutes prior to the event. There are rare exceptions where we sell out. Typically the Beer Miles, Fourth of July and Thanksgiving sell out, so don't wait on those.
10. Can my child ride a bicycle or scooter in the event?
No
11. Rain Policy
These are outdoor events, we will never cancel, only delay unless it's catastrophic weather. We will always make our best effort to keep participants informed via email, web and Facebook.
12. What's the charity?
The OBX Running Company charitable causes are with Outer Banks Woman's Club, Outer Banks Giving Tree, Waters Edge Village Charter School in Corolla, Corolla Wild Horse Fund, NC Aquarium System, Cape Hatteras United Methodist Men's Group, The Disabled Veterans of America, The North Banks Rotary, and the Local Boy Scout Troop 117. We also provide event services to various local charities and event fundraisers at deeply discounted industry rates or even free of charge.
